After leaving the Military Daz worked freelance in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He then went into the Government sector becoming the youngest manager in the history of the London Borough of Camden where he managed a new initiative - the Street Crime Warden Team designed to reduce anti social behaviour within Camden. 

This scheme was recognised by the Office of The Deputy Prime Minister as the best in the UK.  He then helped train and establish a covert surveillance team for the Environment Agency reducing Environmental Crime in the UK.  He then qualified as a Government Aviation Security Compliance Inspector with TRANSEC (The Transport Security Directive) within the Department for Transport becoming a subject matter expert in Cargo.  In 2013 he left the DfT and joined a Freight Forwarder as the Security Manager leaving as the Compliance Director.
